It is already after 2:00 pm on Sunday. Usually I have the majority of today’s post done. However, this week was busy. I had a presentation on Thursday for my department and Badger worked late every night. His late nights meant that he wasn't home for dish duty after dinner. It gave me a new appreciation for our usual division of labor. I am hoping this week will be less stressful especially since we have tickets for a concert on Tuesday. Once I finish this post, I plan on relaxing for the rest of this sunny Sunday.

1. Weeknight Pizza. Thursday I had hopes of scoring an $8 pizza at Whole Foods as a Prime Member. I took the longer (and more congested) way home to only learn my local Whole Foods did not have a pizza bar meaning that I couldn’t score the deal. This however did not deter me from ordering a pizza. I swear it tasted ten times better since it was a Thursday. Plus it meant no dishes.

2. Closet Decor. We currently are renting our two bedroom apartment. All of my clothes are in the second bedroom which is essentially my “dressing room.” When we first moved in, I hung this trio of pictures and the tassel garland. The closest is not large by any means but this extra bit of fancy makes it so much more fun to select my outfits. Maybe one day I will have a luxurious and glamorous closest but for now, I will enjoy this tiny spot.

3. Happy Mail. I placed an order from Polished Prints during their warehouse sale on Valentine’s Day. It arrived on Saturday and I could not be happier! The shirts are so soft and are prefect for laid back weekend plans. I’m already looking forward to wearing the Home Body shirt with denim shorts this summer.

4. A Clean Apartment. We got a tad behind our usual every two week cleaning so it was a priority to tackle this weekend. It is such a good feeling to have a clean and fresh apartment but with a cat, the feeling can be a little short lived. However, our apartment still feels good and lighting candle is seeming to make our hard work linger a little longer.

Is love really blind? Hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey bring together single people looking to meet the person they want to spend the rest of their lives with.....

5. Love is Blind. Full disclosure- I am not proud of this one and blame Fox. She suggested that I start watching this Netflix experiment and after one episode, I was hooked. I can’t honestly explain what keeps me watching because the number of cringe worth moments is rather high. It is probably a mixture of disbelief and curiosity. Netflix definitely gave the show more creditability having Nick Lachey and his wife, Vanessa be hosts.
